Job Description

  1. Design and support optimal and flexible office IT infrastructure.
  2. Responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers and virtualization.
  3. Install and upgrade computer (server) components and software, manage virtual servers and integrate automation processes.
  4. Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems and assessing impact of issues.
  5. Provide technical documentation and specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure. Provide manuals and IT policies to customers.
  6. Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, recovery and failover procedures.


  1. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field (candidates with incomplete degree could be considered).
  2. 2-3 years proven experience of system administration, network or database administration.
  3. System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, CICSO or other network related fields are a plus.
  4. Working knowledge of virtualization: VMWare, Microsoft or equivalent (experience in Proxmox VE is a plus).
  5. Working knowledge of Linux OS (Debian, Fedora and Ubuntu). Familiarity with Windows/Windows Server and MacOS.
  6. Strong knowledge of networking software, hardware, networking protocols and databases (LAN, WAN, Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, Cisco, VPN, VLAN, RADIUS, Proxmox, Zentyal, Zabbix, Pandora FMS, NextCloud, Apache, LAMP, reverse proxy, Nginx, Docker, MySQL)
  7. Experience with scripting (Python, Perl or other language) and automation tools is a plus.
  8. Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and backup/recovery tools.
  9. Good knowledge of technical Russian and English (verbal and writing).
  10. Experience in setup of IP telephony and PBX systems (Asterisk, FreePBX).
  11. Experience with accounting software (1С, ՀԾ) is a plus.
  12. Resourcefulness and quick problem-solving aptitude, responsibility.
  13. Excellent communication, planning, deadline-keeping skills, ability to work under pressure.
