They are completely based on cloud solutions, everything is hosted on AWS. The custom-designed solutions are individually capable of meeting the complex and growing expectations of shoppers while driving better capacity and delivering greater resilience for online grocery retailers. These achievements have been proven in one of the world’s busiest markets for online groceries. To achieve this, the team uses cutting-edge technologies and when that’s not enough, we push the boundaries of what’s possible. This is an ongoing set of projects, the main goals are: to develop new features, keep the system reliable and resilient, reduce risks, and improve performance to deliver the best UX for customers. We make the platform compliant with industry standards and customer requests. We are looking for a specialist who will have a broad vision of the project, can communicate with Product Owners and teams, ask questions, defend a qualified opinion, and find optimal solutions. Within this project, you will learn how to build very large systems in collaboration with about 2000 developers. You will work with specialists that understand their specific place, value, task and individual performance, but see the “horizon” of the task as well. Tech stack and infrastructure: Java, AWS (lots of services), JS, Kotlin, Swift, Scala.

Required qualifications

• Experience writing modern Javascript
• Experience with React. js
• Highly proficient in CSS
• Passion for user experience
• A fundamental understanding of automated testing
• Comfortable writing production-quality code, and rapid prototyping
• Strong collaboration skills that will allow you to work effectively alongside a cross-functional team
• A desire to learn from others in order to improve your breadth and depth of knowledge

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Node.js
• Experience with restful APIs
• Experience with CSS-in-JS or CSS preprocessors
• Building features with Accessibility
